BAUMANN celebrated the opening of new production facility in Changshu, China.

The new BAUMANN Changshu facility means significant step forward on our journey in China and reflects 25 years of partnership and innovation.

As our BAUMANN Group CEO Thomas H. Rüegg stated during his opening ceremony speech: “This hall represents more than growth; it reflects confidence in the talent and opportunities of this region. Together with our partners, employees, and the community, I am confident we will achieve remarkable success. The name BAUMANN in Chinese means ‘precious horse’—a symbol of strength, determination, and endurance. These qualities define our legacy and guide our future.”

And we are grateful to everyone who helped to make our vision into a reality. A big thank you goes to the representatives of Changshu New & Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and United World College Changshu as our landlord. We would also like to thank our group management representatives, Stefan Schmid, Hansjürg Hartmann and Jochen Markus Weyandt with their global teams, General Manager of BAUMANN China Yudong Zhang with his team, and the whole project team led by Andre Holdener, for their hard work and dedication.
