Cold product for static and quasi-static applications in wire diameters ranging from 0.10 to 0.80 mm. Two springs coiled from one length of wire reduce the part count by 50%. It offers a high to very high spring rate. The wire is round in shape and can be made from carbon steel or stainless steel spring wire. Various surface qualities and coatings are available. The parallel setup of the two springs allows for higher forces when the available radial space is tight.
