Job description
support the customers in application engineering with focus on respective business field
build up and maintain very strong, long-lasting business relations to customer teams (development, engineering, quality, purchasing etc.) in our strategic business field
interact with customers to interpret their needs and requirements
co-develop, co-design and implement products in accordance with specification, customer’s needs and industry standards driven on completely new production line
drive product development from different perspectives like raw material, design, production process.
ensure the manufacturing and testing of prototypes in BAUMANN and at customer site
prepare and perform technical presentations and product demonstrations
support sales in acquisition phase for new customers
communicate and act proactively across departments and locations
Requirements
Experience with analytical product engineering
Solid knowledge and interest in stress analysis
FEA experiences (ideally ANSYS) as an advantage
Technical background and understanding
Ability to dig deep into a technical challenge
Knowledge in material science of steel (alloys, cold forming effects, heat treatment etc.)
Experience of automotive industry as well as experience with springs is desirable
English is a must; German is an advantage
